There is a scammer calling citizens stating that the citizen missed jury duty and must now pay a fine. We do not contact you via telephone for you to pay fines or warrant fees. The Columbia County Sheriff's Office also does not contact you about missing jury duty via telephone. Please do not fall victim to this scam!

In continuation of transparency in The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, we will be providing a monthly report from our office that is also provided to the JPs for Quorum Court that takes place on the second Monday of the month at 5pm on the square.
